Primrose Newborn Care, a newborn home visiting and telemedicine clinic, was founded by Dr. Jessica Madden in 2018. Dr. Madden was one of the first newborn physicians (neonatologists) in the U.S. to offer these services for specifically for newborns and young infants. Dr. Madden works around parents’ and caregivers’ schedules and is available for home and virtual visits from early morning until late at night, even on weekends and holidays.
During her visits Dr. Madden is able to diagnose and treat common newborn medical issues, including jaundice, thrush, diaper rashes, slow weight gain, feeding problems, and tongue-ties. She has expertise in working with preemies and is also a lactation consultant (IBCLC) and breastfeeding medicine specialist.
Home visits are available with a 25 mile radius of Cleveland, Ohio (if further than this, a $50 travel surcharge is applied). Virtual visits are offered throughout the state of Ohio and 28 other states, including NY, NJ, PA, MA, MI, CA, VA, NC, SC, MN, WA, TX, GA, IL, AZ, CO, and FL.
